💸Web3 wallets

Kingdom does not require a Web3 wallet to play, but you need one to buy or withdraw gold.

We recommend using MetaMask. It is the industry standard Web3 wallet and is available as both a browser extension and a mobile app. You will need to download MetaMask and install it on your preferred device. Then, create a MetaMask account.

Most Web3 wallets which are compromised happen when installing. Users either have malware on their device or click a fake link to download a wallet that looks like the official one. PLEASE be careful.

Remember to keep your Seed Phrase safe as this is the ONLY way to recover your wallet.

Setting up the Polygon blockchain

Note: Before starting, ensure that you have the MetaMask extension installed in your web browser. If you don't have it, you can download it from the official MetaMask website and set up an account.

If you're setting up MetaMask for the first time, you'll need to create a new wallet. Follow the instructions to set up a password and save the recovery seed phrase in a secure location. If you already have a MetaMask wallet, you can import it using your existing seed phrase or private key

Step 1: Open MetaMask Click on the MetaMask extension icon in your browser's toolbar to open the MetaMask wallet interface.

Step 2: Scroll down the network list and click "Add network" at the bottom.

Step 3: New window will pop up, then click on "Networks" tab.

Step 4: Scroll down to add "Polygon Mainet"

• Network Name: Enter "Polygon mainnet"

• RPC URL: Enter "https://polygon-mainnet.infura.io" as the RPC URL for the Polygon mainnet.

• Chain ID: Enter "137" for the Polygon mainnet.

Step 5: Click on "Approve" and you are all set!

Wallet Connect

Once MetaMask is installed, click on the gold icon in the navigation bar's top-right corner. A prompt will appear, requesting you to connect your wallet to the game. Afterward, you will be able to buy or sell gold.
